About Us

Mission of Compassion

An Initiative of Catholic Diocese of Kohima

Managed by the Congregation of Medical Sisters of St Joseph (MSJ) LOVE HEALS!!!

St. Joseph’s Palliative Care Center (SJPC), founded in 2022 by the Catholic Diocese of Kohima offers holistic and compassionate care for people with chronic and terminal illnesses. For the terminally ill patients; there is a limit to cure, but no limit to care in our centre. We cannot add days to a suffering person’s life, but to add life, dignity, and hope to their journey. With compassion and love, we walk beside patients and families, bringing comfort, peace, and strength in life’s most difficult moments.

We Need Your

Support!

We believe that care should never be a burden. That is why we follow a ‘No Bill’ policy, offering free and quality medical, emotional, and spiritual support to all who come to us. SJPC relies on the dedication of volunteers, who work alongside doctors, nurses, counselors, and other professionals to provide holistic and compassionate care. By joining our mission and receiving training in palliative care, you can play a vital role in bringing comfort, dignity, and hope to those in need.
